Dear Parents,

We are excited to welcome all of your children to Logan Elementary School for the 2012-2013 school year!  In order to provide excellent school counseling services to your children, there will be two professional school counselors on staff for Grades 2-6.

Mrs. Leah Haft will be the counselor for Grades 2, 3, and 5 and will be at Logan on Monday, Wednesday andThursday. She can be reached at 856-467-5133 ext 520 or by email at lhaft@logan.k12.nj.us.

Mrs. Lauren Altmann will be the counselor for Grades 2, 4, and 6 and will be at Logan on Monday,Tuesday and Friday. She can be reached at 856-467-5133 ext 521 or by email at laltmann@logan.k12.nj.us.

**Please note that Mrs. Haft and Mrs. Altmann work very closely with each other.  If there is an issue with your child that needs immediate attention and the assigned counselor is unavailable, please feel free to contact either one of us on any given day. 

As school counselors, we will be seeing students individually and in small groups. We will teach classroom lessons about social skills and school success, and help maintain the Second Step and Positive Behavioral Support initiatives that are being continued this school year. In addition, we will work closely with teachers and support personnel as part of a team that aids students in reaching their highest academic potential.
