Messages from the Superintendent The Board of Education held a Public Hearing on the 2013-2014 school budget on Wednesday, March 27th. Attached is the Slide Show providing you with information regarding this budget. Please remember the Logan Township School District budget covers the cost for educating and transporting all of Logan students PreK through 12th grade. The Board of Education has incorporated recommendations from the School Safety and Security Committee in next year's proposed school budget. (The committee was composed of Board members, Administrators, Police, Facilities Manager and IT Manager which met several times during the first two months of this calendar year.) We believe these recommendations for security updates will enhance an already-secure school environment for our students. Winter MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing in the areas of Math and Reading occurred during the month of January. Individual student reports were sent home with student report cards in early February. This year, students in grades 5 to 8 also participated in MAP testing for Science.
