Based on the belief that all children are willing and capable of learning and entitled to the best possible educational opportunities, the purposes of the Logan Township School District are to ensure an atmosphere conducive to learning and enhancement of self-esteem, to instill the motivation for life-long learning and to prepare students for future educational challenges.

To best fulfill these purposes, the Logan Township School District will operate under the following tenets:

1. Provide a comprehensive and innovative curriculum and needed resources to implement them.

3. All members of our community will be treated with dignity and respect and encouraged to participate in the educational process.

1. We believe all students want to and are capable of learning, and are entitled to a well-rounded quality education that will result in their ability to make career decisions, be contributors to their community, and become successful, independent adults.

2. We believe parents are a valuable resource and should be active partners in educating our children.

3. We believe all staff should work closely with the community to demonstrate educational leadership, to instill in students motivation toward life-long learning, and to enhance the learning environment through their attitudes and actions.

4. We believe the Board of Education should provide the best possible educational atmosphere, providing leadership in encouraging innovation while being responsible to the needs of the community.
